Dirt Bikes

Conner and Tom have picked up a new sport...dirt bikes! Conner has a little 50cc bike that he is learning to ride and Tom has a 450cc bike that he is learning to ride. They are both trying to get in a lot of practice. We have a lot of land behind us that is unoccupied so the neighbor kids always ride their bikes though there and have sort of made a track through there. Last Wednesday Conner wanted Tom to go out riding with him, so they both went out back to have a little fun. Conner is starting to get better a t riding. The first time he got on he fell over and didn't ever want to get back on. After a little bit of coaxing we got him back on the bike and he is now loving it and never wants to stop. I went out back to take some pictures in hopes to see Conner go off the little jump. He never caught air. I did manage to get Tom in a wheelie. The next time he tried he gave it a little too much throttle and wheelied over. He landed on his back and elbows. He hurried back up so that he didn't scare me. When he came in and started to take off his gear, he warned me that there might be some blood on his arm. No blood, just a HUGE hematoma on his arm. It looked like he had a third elbow! It has now been almost a week and his bruise is still massive. Hopefully it gets better soon.

That is scary! Conner needs to be careful I don't want him to get hurt that would be sad.

Tom's arm looks so grose! Yuck. I wish I had a four wheeler or something, then we could go to the Dunes

That looks horrible. That's why we don't like bikes at our house anymore. BE Careful guys.

That looks like so much fun, except for the elbow. Ouch!
