Fun Run

Another fun day of school activities outside. Today was the fun run where they race around the track. Tayler only had to run half the track and she did great! She thought it was funny that she passed up her friend and made it to the finish before her.

Last year at the fun run, I got a call from the school telling me to come pick up Conner because he had an accident. When I got to the school, Conner was laying on the couch in the office covered in scrapes with a huge goose-egg on his forehead. They said that he was unconscious for a minute after he was trampled on the track. We took him to our doctors office where they cleaned up his wound and checked for broken bones. From there we headed to the hospital for a head scan to make sure everything was fine. A few bandages later we headed home. This year he made it with no injuries! He started out in the back of the race, very cautious not to fall. Once he was sure it was safe, he ran faster to pass up a few people and come in 10th out of the whole 4th grade! Way to go Conner!
